My name is Ivana and life has become an endless inspiration for me. It is variable and full of colours. Full of everything. Everything intoxicatingly beautiful as well as worryingly saddening. Life is perfect in its entirety, and it is up to everyone what they choose of their lives and what they are able to live through. I have chosen much already, and, on the contrary, something has chosen me. For that I am immensely grateful and I enjoy living my life, with love in my heart and a smile on my face. I enjoy discovering mainstreams as well as mysterious recesses. I enjoy both running headlong and standing motionless in peace. I enjoy being a nonchalant speaker as well as an attentive listener. I enjoy being quick and active as well as quietly calm and passive. I enjoy learning, exploring and trying new things, and I thank, with humility in my heart, for everything that surrounds me. I love. I love my family, my man, those close to me or distant, I love my work and life itself.
Following my university studies of arts and anthropology of the Near East, when in the Maelstrom of lively parties, ecstatic highs and brutal collapses, far and near journeys, first earned money as well as squandered scholarships, I have finally realized that my life will bring me many things, but definitely not boredom. After having successfully completed my university studies, I started my professional career in marketing. I have tried both the formal environment of the banking sector as well as the informal environment of fashion design, the background of a PR agency as well as corporate background. As part of marketing communication, production, PR and event management, I have gone through a long-term experience with major brands, market leaders and multinational corporations as well as small-sized start-ups and independent projects. My thanks to all for having set the direction for my present footsteps.
A meeting with two exceptional women has become fatal in my life – Lucie Königová and Lenka Nezvalová who have given me a deeper introduction to yoga practice. With them, I have learnt to stand firmly on my feet as well as on my head. I have learnt to accept things and let them go, to view the world from different perspectives, to let others inspire me and to experiment, to explore the world in its inconceivable greatness as well as in its everyday ordinariness. I have found the place, room and area where I want to stand and where I want to invest my excitement, energy and experience. I deeply admire and appreciate all those around me who are not afraid to do what they enjoy doing, who have found deep inside them a strong motive or talent for doing something, who do this with vigour and an enormous belief and who, very often with much effort, persist in doing what makes sense to them. I, as a result, want to support, contribute to and participate in the implementation of such beautiful and meaningful projects.
